Dartmouth gas station robbed, police seek suspect

DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Dartmouth gas station at knifepoint Friday night.

According to police, the man entered the Dartmouth Shell at 831 State Road at around 10 p.m. Friday. The clerk told police that a white man in his early to mid-30s threatened the clerk with a knife and took about $200 from the register. The suspect ran off towards Reed Road.

He was described as being about six feet tall, weighting around 275 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with no logos or other markings and gray sweatpants, was wearing glasses, and was clean-shaven.
