Vice President Joe Biden planning trip to RI

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI/AP) — Vice President Joe Biden will make a stop in Rhode Island next week.

According to a new release from the White House, Vice President Biden will arrive in the Ocean State on Friday, May 27. He will take part in an event promoting the importance of investing in infrastructure, the White House reports.

Gov. Gina Raimondo in February signed legislation that raises money for a 10-year plan to repair deteriorating bridges and roads around the state.
