Warwick police seek suspect accused of breaking camera at Trump rally

WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Members of the Warwick Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a man suspected of breaking a camera during a Donald Trump rally in Warwick.

According to police, the man grabbed a video camera from the victim, broke it and then threw it into the crowd during the rally on Monday, April 25, at Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 50s or 60s. He was wearing a black baseball cap and grey jacket. The suspect is likely from Rhode Island or Massachusetts, according to police.

Police say the man in question is a suspect in an investigation into larceny and malicious damage of property.
