PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — PawSox fans will get their first chance to experience Mondor Way this weekend.
The Pawtucket Red Sox have introduced their latest upgrade to McCoy Stadium, named in honor of the late Ben Mondor.
It gained inspiration from Yawkey Way at Fenway, with food, drinks and music outside the stadium.
The pavilion will open to ticket holders two hours before games and will stay open through the 7th inning.
On Sunday, the stadium will set off a Memorial Day Eve Fireworks Spectacular following the 6:05 p.m. game.
