LINCOLN, R.I (WPRI) — The suspect involved in a large police chase last week that traveled through two towns has turned himself in.

Heath allegedly led police on a car chase on June 2 after Lincoln police received a call about a possible domestic assault. Beginning in the area of Wilbur Road in Lincoln, Heath was able to make his way to Weeden Street in Pawtucket before striking a Lincoln police cruiser along with several parked cars and fleeing on foot.

Police said at that point they were unable to locate Heath.

Captain Philip Gould of Lincoln police thanked the public in a news release for their attention to the case that could have contributed to the suspect coming forward.
