Crews respond to house fire in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Emergency crews are on the scene of an early-morning house fire in West Warwick.

Flames and smoke could be seen pouring from the Summit Avenue home after the fire broke out at about 6 a.m.

Fire officials believe the fire started in a second-floor bathroom.

No injuries were reported.

The Red Cross was called in to assist two adults and three children who lived at the home.
