Youth chairs recalled due to high levels of lead


PROVIDENCE, R.I (WPRI) — About 6,000 chairs and swings across the nation have been recalled due to high levels of lead. The Leisure Ways products were made in China and contain excessive levels of lead on the fabric.

All of these chairs and swings are covered in butterfly patterns and were sold between January and April.

If you own one of this chairs you can return it to the store where it was purchased for a refund.

Bighorn handgun safes have been recalled because they can be opened without a combination. These were sold from March 2015 through March 2016.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission warns that it can put people, especially children, at risk. No injuries have been reported.

Surge protectors made by 360 Electrical that could catch fire or shock people have been recalled. Approximately 10,000 were sold between July 2015 and February 2016.
