WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — A Rhode Island man with ties to ISIS will appear before a federal judge today.
Nicholas Rovinski was indicted back in April on new federal charges that he allegedly tried to recruit people for ISIS while behind bars following his arrest last June.
He is also facing terror-related charges. He and co-conspirator David Wright, are accused of meeting in Rhode Island to discuss plans for terror attacks.
If convicted, the two men could face life in prison.
