CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — Cranston police have arrested a suspect in a recent bank robbery and said the man has been very cooperative with their investigation.

According to Chief Michael Winquist, Henry Randall was arrested Monday and charged with holding up the Citizens Bank branch on Rolfe Square late Friday morning.

When detectives went to speak with Randall after identifying him as the suspect, Winquist said he admitted to committing the robbery and provided the clothing and facemask he wore during the crime.

The chief said Randall also turned over most of the money that was obtained.

Randall, 27, of Greenwood Street, was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of second-degree robbery.
