UXBRIDGE, Mass. (WPRI) — The Uxbridge Police Department announced Monday that some cases of water are available for those in need.

Police posted on their Facebook page that 75 cases were available for residents at Advanced Auto.

This announcement follows a warning of water contamination within the town’s tap water.

The town was notified to boil water late Saturday evening and notifications were sent out to residents as soon as possible through social media, town notification systems, and various other methods.

Police Chief Jeffrey A Lourie encouraged residents to take advantage of the Code Red notification system and to ensure your neighbors have been notified.
