EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A driving lesson in East Providence did not go as planned.
Firefighters and police were called to Narragansett Park Drive Thursday evening after the car crashed into a building. There were two women in the car at the time. One was apparently teaching the other to drive, when the person behind the wheel lost control.
“I watched the car leave the ground; all four wheels left.” said Steve Rego, who witnessed the crash. “They mowed down the flag pole, and slammed right into the building.”
The women in the car were not injured, but their car sustained some front-end damage. The was no damage to the building.
