Providence police called to Manton Avenue for reported shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police say they responded to an incident on Manton Avenue.

Lt. Henry Remolina confirmed for Eyewitness News that the scene was active around 9:10 p.m. on Sunday night.

The Providence Journal reported on Twitter that the incident involved a shooting and seven shell casings could be seen on Manton Avenue.

The suspects also reportedly fled from the scene on dirt bikes, said the tweet.
