PROVIDENCE, RI. (WPRI) – RIPTA is detouring 22 bus routes in the downtown Providence area on Sunday, September 18th, in order to accommodate the CVS Health Downtown 5K road race.
Routes 1, 3, 17, 19, 21, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 50, 51, 54, 55, 56, 57, 60, 66, 72, 78, 92 and the R-Line will be detoured from 8AM until 1:30PM.
Memorial Boulevard, Francis, Dyer and Eddy Streets will be closed during this time.

WPRI 12 is proud media sponsor of the 27th Annual CVS Health Downtown 5k, held on Sunday, September 18 in Providence, Rhode Island. Race day features the CVS Health Downtown 5k, the High School Inspirational 3K and youth races of varying distances. The CVS Health Downtown 5K is a USATF Championship event with athletes competing for both individual and team champion honors.
