PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Twin two-year-old boys are recovering after police said they were tossed out the first-floor window of their Providence apartment.
It happened on Alverson Avenue on Sunday.
According to police, a neighbor called to report seeing Benita Barbour throw her two children out the window and onto the porch.
The toddlers were taken to Hasbro Children’s Hospital where they were treated and released into the Department of Children Youth and Families care.
Barbour is facing disorderly conduct charges.
Police are still looking to talk to toddlers’ father, who left the scene of the incident when police arrived.
