Police: Bank robber waited in line, demanded cash

PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing the Pawtucket Credit Union on Broadway around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police said the suspect waited in line for the next available teller, then demanded all of the teller’s cash. He did not show a weapon.

The teller handed over the money, and the suspect left the bank. No one was injured.

Police described the suspect as a white man, standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-8. Surveillance images from the bank show him wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, sneakers, sunglasses, and a baseball cap.
