Cranston police attempt to identify shoplifting suspect

CRANSTON, RI (WPRI)- Detectives with the Cranston Police Department are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect from a shoplifting incident at the Rite Aid on Dyer Avenue.

The posted video of the incident, that happened back in August, on their Facebook page.

Police say the woman, who is in her 20 or 30s, entered the Rite Aid and stole merchandise off the shelf.

The woman then took off, without paying for the products.

She is described as having dirty-blond hair and was carrying a black handbag.
