Overnight fire damages cars at Dighton business

DIGHTON, Mass. (WPRI) — The cause of a fire that damaged several cars at a business in Dighton is under investigation.

Firefighters were called to Manheim New England Car Auction on Williams Street just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police tell Eyewitness News five cars were engulfed in flames when crews arrived and several more were damaged by the fire.

There were no reports of any injuries. Officials say they do not consider the cause of the fire to be suspicious.
