FALL RIVER (WPRI) — A Fall River woman is set to be arraigned Tuesday after being accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars from a woman for whom she provided in-home care.
Prosecutors allege Kathleen King stole more than $120,000 from the 92-year-old woman.
A grand jury last week indicted King, 60, on a single count of larceny over $250 from a person over 60, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn.
The court stated King helped the elderly woman with cooking, cleaning, shopping and other household tasks. She allegedly obtained the money in 2013 by withdrawing it from the woman’s checking and savings accounts.
