NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — A North Providence man is facing charges that he assaulted three disabled people while working at a group home in Norton, Mass.

According to Norton police, Andre Scott was arrested over the weekend after failing to appear in court on Friday.

Norton detectives began investigating Scott in August following an incident at a Judge Rotenberg Center group home, where he was employed. Investigators said they discovered Scott had assaulted three separate residents of the home.

Scott, 25, is set to appear in court Tuesday and will face rendition to Massachusetts to answer to three counts of assault and battery upon a disabled person.
