Man arrested for break-in arrests at North Prov. businesses

NORTH PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Police have arrested a man they believe broke into local businesses on Mineral Spring Avenue and Charles Street, and may have broken into more establishments.

Tuesday, Capt. Michael Paiva of the North Providence Police said his officers had arrested David Cantagallo. An anonymous tip came in to detectives, who subsequently identified Cantagallo as the suspect in security video obtained from two of the businesses.

The break-ins occurred at Family Dentist and Blowouts Salon on Mineral Spring Avenue, and Koi Palace Restaurant on Charles Street.

Cantagallo is charged with three counts of breaking and entering.
