Police seize 6 lbs. of pot, $15,000 cash from vehicle

MANSFIELD, Mass. (WPRI) — Two Massachusetts men were taken into custody Wednesday after police broke up a suspected drug deal.

According to Mansfield police, officers arrived at Mansfield Crossing to find a grey pickup truck parked next to a white sedan, along with what appeared to be a large amount of drugs.

As a result of their investigation, police said they arrested two men and seized approximately six pounds of marijuana and more than $15,000 cash.

Jordan Owen, 22, of Mansfield, was charged with possession with intent to distribute a class D substance (marijuana), possession with intent to distribute a class E substance (Xanax) possession of a class D substance, possession of a class E substance, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Naib Bahia, 29, of Malden, was charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws.
