BOSTON (WPRI) — A man accused of sending false bomb threats to schools in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Illinois pleaded guilty in federal court Friday.

Anthony Rae, 25, faces up to ten years in prison. His sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.

Prosecutors said Rae’s bomb threat spree went on for nine months. One threat was emailed to Rhode Island College in June 2015. According to prosecutors, Rae sent that threat from a public computer at his apartment complex the day after investigators seized electronic devices from his home.
