(WPRI) — Due to potential weather in Cleveland Wednesday night, Major League Baseball has made the decision to move up the start time for Game 2.

The start time has been changed to 7 p.m. and Fox will begin its coverage with their World Series Pregame show at 6:30 p.m.

Due to the earlier start time, Eyewitness News at 6:30 on Fox Providence will be pre-empted.

The Indians silenced the Chicago Cubs 6-0 in Game 1 behind the dominance of starting pitcher Corey Kluber.
