PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – Hundreds of baseball fans had a chance to do some early holiday shopping at McCoy Stadium Saturday afternoon.
The Pawtucket PawSox held their first Ballyard Sale and Fall Open House Saturday, bringing hundreds of fans to McCoy during the off season.
Fans had a chance to buy game-used equipment and authentic memorabilia.
“Your diehards, your loyal season ticket holders, frequent visitors,” all came out, PawSox General Manager Dan Rea told Eyewitness News at the event. “Maybe some people who haven’t been here before or who are coming here for the first time to get an autographed ball or a cool collectible item for a dorm room.”
There was no cost for admission Saturday.
No word on when the PawSox will host another Ballyard Sale in the future.
