Oreo Fudge Cremes recalled due to unlisted milk

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Two varieties of Oreo Fudge Cremes have been recalled because they contain milk, which is not listed among the ingredients.

The recall announced Friday by Mondelez Global LLC affects the Original and Mint flavors, which were sold nationwide.

According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious allergic reaction if they consume the cookies.

The company said it’s received one report of an allergic reaction to date.

The recall involves products with the following UPC codes and best by dates:
