FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — The New England Patriots have traded linebacker Jamie Collins to the Cleveland Browns for a conditional third-round draft pick, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday.

Through the first eight games, Collins has a combined 43 tackles, two interceptions and one sack.

He missed Week 6 against the Bengals with a hip injury.

Collins was drafted by the Patriots in the 2013. He was set to become a free agent at the end of this season.
