Gas station clerk in Rehoboth threatened at knifepoint

REHOBOTH, MA (WPRI) – Rehoboth police are asking for the public’s help trying to identify two men wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a gas station in their town.

Police say two masked men walked into the Exxon Gas Station located on Winthrop Street just before 11 last night armed with knives.

The men threatened to stab the clerk, ordering him to the floor and telling him to open the cash drawer and safe.

The clerk wasn’t able to open the safe, but one of the suspects grabbed $400 to $500 from the cash register.

The clerk tells eyewitness news they also stole five packs of cigarettes.

The whole robbery took only about two minutes.

The clerk describes the first suspect as approximately 5’10” with a thin build and the second suspect was 6′ tall with a “heavier” build.
