Recount in North Kingstown after Question 9 was inaccurate

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (WPRI) – A font change is to blame for inaccurate ballots in North Kingstown which is forcing the Board of Elections to hold a recount next Tuesday.

Local officials say all ballots will be recounted for all questions and candidates after they discovered question nine on the ballot was wrong.

The BOE says the font change was made after the machines were formatted.

The recount is scheduled for Tuesday November 15 at 9:30 a.m.
