(WPRI) — For the second night in a row, protesters across the country hit the streets, speaking out against the election of Donald Trump.

In Portland, Oregon, a peaceful protest turned into a riot.

Thousands chanting “not my president” while store windows were smashed, firecrackers were lit and dumpster fires were started.

Donald Trump responded to the situation on Twitter Thursday night.

On Friday morning, Trump changed his tune.
