PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Two young men were wounded by gunfire Saturday afternoon in Providence.
Eyewitness News found police officers collecting evidence around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Morning Star Row and Friendship Street. Officers said two young men had been sitting in a car in front of a home when someone emerged and fired several shots at them.
One of the victims was hit in the leg, and police said that neither man’s injuries were life-threatening.
Officers said the shooting appeared to be the result of an argument and is not believed to be a random act.
