PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) – Additional shots rang out in Pawtucket just hours after a fatal shooting killed a 21-year-old man Saturday afternoon.

The Pawtucket Police Department responded to 132 Harrison Street around 4 a.m. early Sunday morning for a report of shots fired.

The victims told officers they heard someone knocking on their bedroom window, but when they looked outside, no one was there. This occurred a second time, which is when the victims heard the glass window shatter, and realized someone was shooting into the home.

According to Pawtucket Police, the suspect fired three shots into the home before fleeing on foot.

No one was injured as a result of this incident. Pawtucket Police continues to investigate.

This follows another incident at the same scene, which Pawtucket Police say was a large disturbance where two people were arrested. Detectives are also investigating whether these two incidents are related.

Another report of shots fired came in late Saturday night around 11 pm. in the area off Goff Avenue and Pine Street. Pawtucket Police have not commented further on this incident.
