(WPRI) — Recent appointments made by President-elect Donald Trump are creating some waves in Rhode Island.

Trump has tapped GOP Chairman Reince Priebus as his chief of staff and Steve Bannon as his chief strategist.

Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, has been criticized for using the website for the alt-right movement.

In the above video, Sen. Jack Reed, Gov. Gina Raimondo and Rep. David Cicilline are among those responding to the appointments.
