Centracchio on Macy’s Day Parade security

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — In recent propaganda, ISIS called the Macy’s Day Parade an “excellent target” and called on its followers to attack parade-goers with vehicles.

The New York Commissioner John Miller said not to worry and that the city has been preparing for months.

Eyewitness News Analyst, Lt. Gen. Reginald Centracchio was live in the studio Wednesday to discuss the security threat with Eyewitness News Anchor Mike Montecalvo.

During his tenure, he served as Director of the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency and as Rhode Island Homeland Security Advisor – becoming the first Adjutant General to hold all three positions simultaneously.
