The film hit theaters nationwide and has already received great reviews.
Eyewitness News spoke with viewers in Warwick on release night. They say they are proud of and inspired by the local boxing legend.

“I thought it was great. I thought Paz was inspirational. I though Miles Teller played him perfectly.” – Joe Branca, Providence.
“It was awesome to see a story like that out of somebody from Rhode Island. I thought it was really influential. Really motivating, what he did, and seeing that someone from around here could do that. – Cameron Dimari, Coventry
A majority of the film was shot locally in Rhode Island, including Kent Hospital where Paz was treated for his spinal injury.
“I got to see what they did behind the scenes, and it was really nice.” Rhonda Holston, Coventry
Many of the boxing scenes were also filmed at Twin River
Miles Teller plays Paz in the film along co-star Aaron Eckhart. The film was directed by Ben Younger and produced by local Chad Verdi.
