NAPLES, Maine (WPRI) — Authorities say two men are dead and a third wounded following shootings overnight in Casco and Naples.

Police say 59-year-old Norman Strobel of Naples was shot and killed in a confrontation with Cumberland County Sheriff’s deputies Saturday night at a mobile home in Naples.

Deputies had been looking for Strobel after a shooting at his ex-girlfriend’s camp in Casco earlier Saturday. Strobel’s ex-girlfriend, Sandra Goulet, wasn’t there at the time. Her daughter’s boyfriend, 32-year-old Jason Almeida of Middletown, Rhode Island, is recovering from four gunshot wounds.

After Strobel was killed, deputies discovered the body of another man inside the mobile home. That man’s name is being withheld as police try to locate his relatives. Police say he was 55 years old and lived in the mobile home.
