Former Gov. Don Carcieri reflects on Station Memorial

WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Former Rhode Island Governor Don Carcieri was only six weeks into his administration when the Station Nightclub Fire happened.

He returned to the site on Sunday to speak at a ceremony in which a memorial park was dedicated to the 100 people who lost their lives.

In the above video, Eyewitness News Anchor Danielle North sits down with Carcieri to look back on how the state came together following the tragedy and how so many people stepped up and donated their time and money to help build the memorial.
