WARREN, R.I. (WPRI) – A water main break in Warren that caused some traffic delays Wednesday morning has been repaired.
Police say construction crews working on the renovation of the former American Tourister mill broke the line while working overnight.
The break – located on Main Street (Route 114) just south of the Warren Bridge – was repaired just before 11 a.m. and police said traffic in the area was not as congested.
The building is being converted into apartments and commercial space. Police said the work crews were in the process of installing utilities to the building at the time of the break.
