Cranston police investigating pedestrian struck by car

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – Cranston police are investigating an accident involving a pedestrian who was struck by a car.

The pedestrian was sent to the hospital after being hit on Sockanosset Cross Road just after 7 p.m.

The victim, a 21-year-old male, sustained no-life threatening injuries.

Cranston Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk at the time of the arrest and the driver was not arrested at the scene.
