Tsarnaev lawyer says he plans to seek trial delay

Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev returned to court Thursday for the first time since he was arraigned in July 2013, and his lawyer said the defense will ask to delay his upcoming trial.

Circus company disputes $7,000 fine for hair-hanging accident

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has contested a citation it received from federal regulators for an accident that sent eight hair-hanging acrobats plummeting to the ground during a live performance, severely injuring most of them.

Eriksson’s OT goal helps Bruins snap 3 game skid

Loui Eriksson’s goal 1:30 into overtime gave Boston a 3-2 win over Minnesota on Wednesday night, only the second victory for the Bruins in eight games and the fourth loss for the Wild in the past six.
