Celtics lose to Portland, drop second straight

LaMarcus Aldridge had 20 points and 14 rebounds, reserve Chris Kaman scored 16 points and the Trail Blazers extended their streak to seven games with a 94-88 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday night.

Revs beat Red Bulls in first leg of MLS East final

Jermaine Jones, who played for the United States at this past summer’s World Cup, finished a counter attack in the 85th minute with a tap-in and gave New England a 2-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls Sunday to put the Revolution within a draw of the MLS Cup final.
