Cardi Corporation has agreed to a second settlement with the federal government in connection with the IWAY railing system.

A letter obtained by the Target 12 Investigators said steel reinforcement bars in the railings were apparently cut during installation.
In a statement, Cardi said, “RIDOT has directed that Cardi perform this work without agreeing to compensate Cardi.”
Monday morning, the barriers marked “Cardi” on the bridge were gone.
Target 12 has learned the construction is expected to take four months, weather permitting.
