Showers return for the start of the weekend

Dry weather for Thursday and Friday, but we’re tracking some changes for the beginning of the weekend. A high pressure system will help to keep us dry for the rest of Thursday and into Friday with highs in the upper 70s. A warm front along a low pressure system is expected to move East into the region late Friday evening, which could bring some scattered showers and maybe even a thunderstorm.
