The strong cold front did it’s job yesterday, bringing in a fresh air mass that dropped our temperatures some 20-30° from the unseasonable warmth of the weekend. Now that the showers are gone and the clouds are clearing… some dry, storm-free weather… though much cooler weather… is settling in to southern New England.
A large area of high pressure will be dominating our weather over the next few days… with just slightly cooler than average temperatures. The next 4 days will feature plenty of sun for most of us… the exception is the Cape and Islands… where extra cloudiness and even some drizzle will be possible on Thursday and Friday.
We’re still tracking a potential coastal storm for next week…. timing, track are still uncertain… but on the busiest travel day of the year (Wednesday) New England COULD be looking at a stormy day with rain/wind/snow? in spots. We’ll be keeping you updated.
