It’s a beautiful morning… not too chilly, sun is shining and the winds are fairly light. It’s setting up to be a great day for the annual Thankgiving High School football games.
Sprawling high pressure continue to be our main weather feature today into tomorrow “day”… with dry skies, mostly sunny afternoons and slightly warmer than normal temperatures. All that changes this weekend, though, as a cold front brings in a fresh shot of chilly Canadian air on a gusty northwest wind. That may mark the start of a new weather pattern taking shape for next week with a return to cooler than normal, and potentially wetter than normal conditions. We’ll be watching an area of low pressure for Tuesday-Wednesday. The computer guidance is all over the place with the track of the storm… which will determine if we see just rain or a wintry mix.
