Chafee sets Thursday signing ceremony for gay marriage

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) – Gov. Lincoln Chafee announced plans to sign a bill legalizing same-sex marriage during a ceremony on Thursday evening, immediately after the final version legislation is expected to win passage in the House of Representatives.

    Thanks for tarishing the terminology of what a REAL marriage is and slapping everyone in the face that follows their faith.

    No matter what the govt. says, the definition of marriage with always be a scarament between a man and a woman.

    Shame on our goverment.

    I don’t care if two poeple of the same sex wanna make their union official, but it is a damn shame to call it a marriage. It’s like calling a car a carrot.

    Such sad times how selfish people like many of these gays are getting what they want.

    Just remember, the politicans don’t care about you as people, they care to get your votes…..And that is the ONLY reason such bills are being passed.
