Nice Stretch for Easter Sunday and Marathon Monday

Note: With gusty winds and low humidity, there is an elevated fire risk today.

Whether you are heading to services or setting up an Easter egg hunt, it will be a warm and breezy day with gusts of 25-30 mph possible late morning into the afternoon.  So make sure to put a little weight in those eggs that you are hiding!

Location, location, location will be the rule today.  Highs inland should make it into the low to mid 80s, while the coast will likely stay in the mid 60s to low 70s because of cooler breezes moving in from the southwest.

For Providence,  we probably won’t get quite this warm but we will be keeping an eye on 2 records:

Remember, Easter can fall on many different dates, so that is why we have 2 separate records to look at today.

Showers/T-Storm Possible Tonight

There is a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, but the best chance would be after sunset.  Some of the storms could be strong with gusty winds and heavy downpours, but the best chance of the strong storms will be to our west.

Marathon Monday

Although it will be cooler, Marathon Monday will be a pleasant day for both Boston and Rhode Island.  Highs will be in the low 70s with a breeze out of the northwest at 10-20 mph with gusts around 25-30 mph.  For runners and spectators, this means not too warm and not too cool!
