Quick update regarding this evening…
We’re tracking a line of showers and t’storms in western New England as of 7:45PM on Live Pinpoint Doppler 12 Radar. These storms have a history of producing wind gusts to 40-50mph, and some tree branches could come down this evening. This could obviously lead to an isolated power outage.
These showers will continue moving eastward, arriving in northwest RI around 8:30PM and in the Providence area by 9PM.
Some gusty winds and some brief downpours are possible along with an isolated rumble of thunder through 11pm.
By midnight, most of the rain should be gone and we’ll see some partial clearing.
Monday will be cooler with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s with a mix of sun and clouds.
