Good morning from Meteorologist Pete Mangione:
The High Wind Warning has been cancelled for most of our area, it has been replaced by a windy advisory which is in effect until 5PM. Winds could still gust to 40-45 mph inland, and 50-55 mph along the south coast. As of around 6AM, there are still about 100 thousand without power in Rhode Island. It’s possible it may be too windy for all power restorations to be done today, stay tuned for updates.
