Tracking Jose: NHC 11AM Update

Jose is holding onto its hurricane status, barely.  It will pass far off to our southeast on Wednesday and our forecast remains basically the same. At 11AM, Jose was approximately 230 miles east-northeast from Cape Hatteras moving northward at 7 mph.  The visible satellite picture from the GOES 16 weather satellite shows a well-defined circulation center off the east coast.  In fact, the storm has been looking a little healthier the past few hours.
